What Is The Dosage Of Mifeprostine To Be Taken?

Hi, I m 35 male and had an unprotected intercourse with my wife on saturday 4 days back. She had a miscarriage on 17th of october. Should she use mifeprostine and if yes what should be the dose and how many times, as we dont want a baby so early again.

Hi,Dear.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
If you dont want a baby then you can choose from two methods of termination of pregnancy i.e.surgical through dilatation and curettage or medical through MIFEPRISTONE.Surgical method is always prefered over medical due to less side effects.
Yes your wife can go for MIFEPRISTONE.It is available as tab.MIFEPREX 200 mg.a single dose of MIFEPREX is taken followed by 4 tablets of CYTOTEC 200 mg taken after 48 hrs of taking MIFEPREX.
The bleeding will start within 2 hrs of taking CYTOTEC.
If there is excessive bleeding seek for medical help.
