What Is The Duration Of Nuvaring To Be Used For Contraception?

I am 19 years old and i am on nuvaring. i had sex last night and took it out. I didnt realize that it was out for more then 3 hours. so the next day i took plan b around 12 hours after sex. i put my old nuvaring back in. i just want to know if i should just keep that ring in untill its my scedual day to take it out or just take it out now.

Hi,

Let the NuvaRing be there. Don't take it out. Anyway, you have taken an emergency pill also. There are less chances of pregnancy. Yet, if you miss your periods for more than 7 days from your last periods date then do your urine pregnancy test.
