As you have indicated a possible to exposure to HCV, you are getting routinely evaluated for it.
o.1 negative means the
HCV RNA load is too low qualitatively to detect any virus by the standard method being applied. As you know most of the tests are not perfect and if a single virus a present, it is difficult to detect it.
The current test can detect if the
viral load is more than 10, so any thing less than 10 cannot be detected. So based on percentage it is given as 0.1 (10/100) negative.
As you have done it after three months, it effectively means there is no detectable virus in you.
It cannot be given as 0.0 as the test is not accurate enough to detect every single virus. If it were to be any virus, it should have increased enough to be detected. Probably you have not been exposed enough to contract the disease.
It should not increase in future tests.
