What Is The Lethal Dosage Of Benadryl?

My mother takes , among other things, about 100 benadryl every week, on top of other medications. She believes it is the best. I tell her that it is too much, and read about the symptoms, she matches them all. She was form erly an R N and believes she is in the right and not dosing too much.The dose is 25, and she prefers 100. Talks in her sleep, can t be stirred,and has running feet.Hands constantly sweep everything off the table by the bed. Really hates me calling her out.

The lethal dose is approximately 700mg, even though there is a case of a patient who survived 750 mg.
Your mother is taking too much Benadryl and what you've seen are the side effects of the drug.
It seems like your mother has conditioned herself to think that 100mg work the best, and this dose relieves her worries, making her feel safe.
I would recommend you to see a therapist or someone who can convince her that 25 mg are enough. It needs to be someone specialised in these cases, because your mother will eventually dismiss other people or doctors, rationalising that she knows better.
Please, do not postpone the visit because the symptoms show that your mother needs to be taken care of asap.
