What Is The Life Expectancy After The Removal Of Tumors?
My mom has stage IV bilateral lung cancer. She is 5 5 and weighs 93 pounds. She is 78, diabetic and has hypertension. Her doctor has recommended carboplatin and taxol in addition to radiation of her right lung. She had a wedge resection to remove two tumors in her left lung after a needle biopsy was inconclusive. Will she survive the treatment?

hello, please dont worry, be hopeful and positive, it will all depend on her body's response to the treatment... nothing can be told for sure in cancer management... spend more time with her, give proper diet, dont make her tensed.. get periodic check ups done...follow treatment seriously.. things should go better
