What Is The Life Expectancy In An Elderly Person With COPD?
Hi my mam is almostn92 years old and has been diagnosed with advanced copd Her breathing and coughing up sputum is extremely bad and she becomes breathless With any kind of exertion what kind of like expectancy is she likely to have ? She really Has no quality of life at the moment.

I really appreciate your concern, COPD is not such disease that could succumbs the patient so the question is life expectancy is not there as long as COPD is concern even with this condition patient can complete normal life span (Unless have some other etiology) hope this information helps take care
