What Is The Life Expected For A Heart Damaged Patient?
I am 72 yr. old female who had massive heart attack at age 65... damage to heart 75%. Four stents implanted. Now have congestive heart disease, diabetes II and just been diagnosed with a-fib. How much longer can I survive. Don't know if I should plan extended vacation.

Hi Although you have all major cardiac problems with stent , ccf af Looks you have a strong will power too If your kidney parameters are normal you can start wiyh cardarone or digoxin to control the rate So that this condition does not cause fast ventricular rates Please do not exert too much, or lift heavy weights, avoid stress, high sugar lrvels Survival rates cannot be exactly described, Please see to that some responsible person accompanies you, do not stop any of your prescribed medications by the cardiologist Take care
