HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The cervical lymph glands are in the neck and under the jaw. They respond to infection and inflammation in the head and neck, this would include the larynx.
INfection of a near by area is the most common reason for enlargement.

Enlargement can also occur due to other reasons such as infection of the lymph nodes themselves and as a result of cancer.

IF the larynx is inflammed , it would cause the cervical nodes responsible for draining this area, to become enlarged.

Once the inflammation is treated the nodes would return to normal in 4 to 6 weeks.

I hope this helps
