What Is The Meaning Of TVS Result Of Anteverted Uterus And Ovarian Cysts?
Good day! I had my TVS yesterday .The result says that I have an anteverted uterus with smooth contour and homogenous echopattern measuring 7.6 cm x4.4 cm x 4.0 cm .tThe endometrium is hyperechoic measuring 1.3 cm with intact subendometrial halo. And both ovaries have multiple small anechoic cysts measuring less than 1.0 cm each with dense central stroma.
Sonography through vaginal route is called as TVS(Trans vaginal sonography). Uterus is normally anteverted in position. This is normal finding.Uterus is homogeneous in echotexture and normal in size. Combined endometrial thickness is also normal.
According to TVS reports you may have PCOD(Poly cystic ovarian disease). This is supported by multiple small anechoic cysts measuring less than 1.0 cm in both ovaries with dense central stroma but radiological findings is not confirmatory. It has to be confirmed by clinical means and laboratory findings. You should consult your gynecologist. Hope i have answered your query.
