Low monocytes does not talk about HIV positivity at all when alone are changed.HIV can be tested by tri dot test instantly.Depending its result , if positive , viral load , CD 4 count are tested to assess the severity.

in hiv cd4 lymphocyte count is decreased.
Decreased monocyte levels can indicate bone marrow injury or failure and some forms of leukemia.some drugs can cause decrease in monocyte count. are you taking any drugs? so negligible chance of hiv positivity.consult your doctor about it.
