I am getting married in Dec 2013 and doing my USG Follicular Study. the report for 11th day says Uterus is normal in size and echotexture. Endometrial cavity is central and empty. No e/o focal lesion. Both ovaries show few follicles. No evidendence of focal lesion. what does this mean?
Hi follicular study is done to find out cause of infertility in females. It is done at specific time when ova are most likely to be released. In this test we look for follicle formation in ovary. Normal follicular study means the person can conceive and if at all not conceiving cause is not ovary. Hope this helps.
