A mild free fluid collection is noted in the pouch of douglas. featured of pelvic inflammatory disease endocervical swab should be considered for further evaluation. does it mean i cant have a child and what drugs should i use to treat the infection.
It shows that you have a certain amount of free fluid behind the uterus (pouch of Douglas). There is mild (quantity not mentioned) fluid in the region which might be indicative of pelvic infection. It does not indicate any hindrance to conceiving. You may choose to get a transvaginal ultrasound scan done for better imaging of pelvic organs.
