3. Epithelial cells of 3+ per hpf can be considered as normal.
4. Mucus threads of 2+ per hpf can be considered as normal.
hpf stands for high power field, which is a unit used to describe urine examination under a microscope.
You need to correlate the findings clinically. If you are having symptoms related to urinary tract, it would be ideal for you to get urine culture and sensitivity test done.
