What Is The Medication For Cold And Sore Throat?

My three year old son has had a sore throat and cold for four days now. His temperature has gone today but this morning he woke with spots under his nose, round the side of his mouth, some under/ near his eyes and now on the back of his neck. Just four or five now on the back of his neck. Do I need to get him antibiotics?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history related to your 3 year old son who has sore throat and cold for 4 days now.
Now he has developed spots at various places and you want to know whether there is need to give antibiotics.

First of all, we will have to make it clear the cause of the spots; whether due to viral exenthema or reaction to something?
For this you should consult a Pediatrician or an ENT Surgeon to get clinical evaluation, investigations if needed and treatment as per the findings.
