What Is The Medication For Sinus And Should I Avoid Milk Products?
Hi I have started a sinus infection and was wondering two things. The first is whether I should avoid milk products (such as greek yogurt)? The second question is I have two nasal sprays with me at the moment, nasonex and avamys. Which one should I use? I am a teacher, and as the students are coming back from vacation this is not a good time for me to be sick. Please help I need to kill this thing as fast as possible.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, you have sinus infection, and it may be due to the cold infection, due to the allergy, or viral infection, and the secondary infection with bacteria, over the cold. The first thing you have ti do is to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol. You can avoid the yogurt, or can use any drops among them as for your choice. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
