What Is The Need Of Femilon Tablets?

hi iam 23yrs married women. i have irregular periods Dr suggested me a femilon tablet is their any side effect & we are planning for a baby is any problem to get pregnant? my friends told that taking femilon tablet is very low to get pregnant is it right please suggest me..

hi welcome to health care magic.see as you told you have irregular periods so femilon is just like oral pills.you take it for 3month course once you have regular periods then you stop it and after that you plan a child is better.femilon having side effect like nausea,vomiting,giddiness,weight gain etc.its not like that affect your fertility.

Thanks for query.
As you have got irregular period, first regularize the period then getting pregnancy is easy.
So regularize your period with femilon tab for about 3-4 months and then try for getting pregnancy.

hello,

welcome to HCM

your doctor has given it to regularise your period

its a contraceptive pill.

so till you are continuing chance of getting pregnant is very low.

after your periods become regular , you can discontinue it under the guidance of your doctor.
it has side effects like intermenstrual bleeding, post-medication amenorrhoea, changes in cervical secretions, aggravation of endometriosis and certain vaginal infections like candidiasis
