Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We are trying to conceive and I have been taking my BBT every morning around 6:30. I have noticed that my temperature the past 3 days has been 97.52-97.59. This is new to me and I have read online that says I may need a new thermometer. But I want to know if this is normal? Could I be pregnant? I noticed last night that my breast are really senistive. Please help.
Normal body temperature is 37 °C or 98.6 °F which varies between 36.12–37.6 °C (97.02–99.68 °F)
BBT or basal body temperature may increase at the time of conceiving but it is difficult to interpret and maintaining daily records and your temperature is within normal range.
Use urine strip test at early morning for pregnancy confirmation which is more reliable than BBT.
