What Is The Pain In My Tongue With Difficulty In Eating When On Voltaren?
Hi I have extracted my lower right wisdom tooth.. I am 24 years old.. But I have a very painful tongue pain... I can not eat .. I can not drink.... I can not even swallow.. and I am taking Amoxicellen + Ibuprofen + paracetamol.. but the pain of my tongue continues... yesterday "3 days after extraction" I went to doctor again.. He gave me 1 Ingection of sodium diclofenac 75mg + Dexamethazon 8 ml but still there is little pain in tongue and very difficulty in eating + plus he recommended me to continue taking dexamethazon + voltaren for more 3 days ... and of course completing the amoxicellen + Ibuprofen dose.. I want to tell that there was very traumatic action through extraction. My question is: what to do with my tongue pain, and what is the reason of this, and how to treat it? Thank you for your help and excuse my too much speaking.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand your problem this could be neuralgia,(Atypical trigeminal neuralgia) if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following drug. 1) Tab carbamazepine 200mg at bed time No need to worry about this, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
