Hi! Monu,
Welcome To HealthcareMagic forum,
The term "REMOVAL" in laser
hair removal is not the right term, instead it is "REDUCTION".
The second term which you used is permanent .Now permanency doesn't mean 100% result. It just means that what ever result you have got after certain sittings of laser would remain permanent unless patient develops any
hormonal imbalance.
Usually after 6-8 sessions patient gets 80% result or improvement .This also doesn't mean that hair would vanish ,instead it may become finer and finer as you take sessions.
In-spite of all this, laser is still the best way to get rid off body or facial hair. And its a boon for somebody who has thick hair .One should also understand that laser doesn't work on very fine hair or blonde or grey hair.
So,laser hair reduction requires multiple sessions which may increase if one has hormonal imbalance (like
PCOD).One should take hormonal medicines if one has PCOD ,and this would go along with the
laser treatment.
The best laser would be a Diode laser ,and you can get it at various places in Delhi. I've used nearly all types of lasers for last 12 years, but have found diode to be the best .I was in Delhi for 10 yrs working as a consultant at various laser institutes and one of the best in Asia.I've recently joined apollo hosp in bhilai.
Kindly do not go for an IPL machine for treatment .Its not even a laser ,but there are doctors who are using it saying it to be a laser.
The treatment is costly and it depends which area of face or body you want to get it done.Since it requires multiple sessions you should go for a package treatment.
For face it may approx cost you 20,000/- for say 4-6 sessions(but this would vary from center to center).
Hope I've answered your query. But if you have any further questions, kindly write back to us. I'll be available for your follow up questions as-well.
