Hi,

Contraceptive injection contain a protective hormone which is similar to natural progesterone produced by ovaries. This injection is 99 percent effective means 1 percent failure rate, it is important to take next injection at right time, if you are late in taking next injection you are not protected from pregnancy. The injection is a method of long acting reversible contraceptive, now you have taken Femilon also so periods will come, wait for few days or start next packet from day 5, periods will come in next month when you stop.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
