What Is The Reason For Burning, Itching, Redness In Skin While Taking Medicines For Heart Disease?
I am having burning itching redness skin every day around 3 till bedtime. I take a lot of meds for heart disease. I take chlorthalid 25 mg one half of tablet in morning. I take Isosorbide Mono one half in morning. Clopidogrel Bisulfate 75 mg in morning, Effexor 75 mg a day Lisinopril 10 mg twice a day Ranexa 500 mg twicw a day Pravastatin 80 mg at night Prilosec 20 mg in morning Zolpidem at night. I have a cpap machine 6 months ago. Reminds me of niacin I took once and went nuts like this.

Hello, You may get redness, itching following drugs for cardiac problems. This is because of vasodilatatio n that is dilatation of blood vessel causing more blood to flow towards skin. If you experience severe itching kindly consult doctor in person for treatment.
