What Is The Reason For Dizziness, vommiting And Sickness After Consuming Beer?

I had about 4 beers (64 brand which is 2.3) started feeling like I had had a dozen, felt sick to stomach, felt like I was staggering, dizzy, etc. Came home, vomited several times til nothing left. Still feel sick & dizzy. Anything to worry about?

Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

If this was the first time you had a reaction to the particular brand of beer, contamination-induced intestinal infection should be suspected.

Allergy to Gluten may be another possibility if you have been having similar symptoms precipitated by wheat/barley/rye products. The 64 Brand beer may have been fermented from barley. A more detailed information would be helpful in arriving at a definite conclusion.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Take care
