What Is The Reason For Frequent Vomiting Of The 7 Month Old Baby?
my 7 month old daughter has been vomiting consistently every night for about 3 weeks, i originally thought it was due to teething but her teeth are through now and the temp that was originally there due to teething has also gone but still the vomiting continues.....she does not have any other 'ill' symptoms, she is quite happy in herself. **she has to have soy formula due to allergies
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
Gastrointestinal infections could be one of the causes of frequent vomiting. Conditions like GERD where there is reflux into the esophagus can cause recurrent vomiting. Food allergies could be one of the causes for frequent vomiting. You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause.
