What Is The Reason For Having Severe Pain In Right Leg While Walking?

Hi, I have terrible pain in my right leg when I walk. It seems to come from either my groin or my lower back. I had hip replacement done 2 years ago and tests show the hip is fine. Its getting worse and Im getting really anxious now when I have to get up and walk on it. It seems to also be in the side of my leg?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
As of now, you can consult a physiotherapist, who would teach you back extension exercises, which can be done at home.
You should also avoid forward bending and lifting heavy weights.
If pain is troublesome, you could take medicines such as gabapentin or pregabalin (your doctor can prescribe this for you).
If pain is persisting or getting worse, you could see the doctor
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
Warm Regards
