Hallow Dear, I do appreciate your concern. In good old days, when women were restricted to the house and were not allowed to move outside, hymen used to remain intact till the first intercourse. Hence, girl with intact hymen was labelled as virgin. Now the situations have changed. Women also are moving in the outer word with men to make their own carrier. Then she has to ride bicycle, two wheeler, some even do horse riding also. Any activity where a girl has to sit astride like above mentioned activities or even tree climbing, athletics also, the hymen gets ruptured. In such event, there may not be any bleeding (of defloration) during first sexual intercourse. Even vaginal masturbation also may severe the hymen. Whether you have entered deeper to the hymen can be ascertained by visual inspection. You can have a look at the vaginal outlet which will inform you. If you see intact hymen with only a small aperture in the centre, you have not ruptured her hymen. If the hymen is in tags with a good sized opening in the centre, you have entered inside the vagina.
