What Is The Reason For Pain From The Back Of The Knee Radiating Upwards Which Is Causing The Rise In BP?

I am having pain in my left leg behind the knee upward thru the thigh. The past couple of days my blood pressure has been running a little high and wondered if one had anything to do with the other? Is it necessary for me to go to the emergency room as I have just moved to Rossville, GA and don t have a family physician as yet.

hello there!
I am sure these two are related no more but psychological increment of blood pressures, the pain in you leg needs some acetaminophen and some physiotherapy excercises and some muscle relaxants like tizanidine and orphanedrine. Of course a regular repeated monitoring of BP would be necessary to rule out hypertension in which case you would be required to start medicines and change of life and diet.
Good luck
