What Is The Reason For Sore Throat, Post Nasal Drip, Redness Which Has Not Subsided After Taking Tylenol Every Six Hours?

Hi, I'm suffering from a very sore throat, I have post nasal drip, redness, hard to swallow, my glands in my neck are swollen and sore. I've been symptomatic for 24+ hours, was running a fever of 100.7 last night, it's been normal today. I'm nauseous from swallowing so much mucas either that or taking too much pain meds. 1500 mg of Tylenol every 6 hours isn't even cutting the pain.

hi welcome to hcm
as you said you had postnasl drip with swelling of glands in neck looks like tonsillitis and for this you are on only tylenol( pain reliever which is not sufficient)
i would sugg est you to visit your physician so that he can examine you and he may as for a chest xray to rule out any pneumonia and may prescribe an anti biotic course for you so that your pain and other symptoms may subside.(ampicillin 500mg tid may be sufficient for 5 days)
