What Is The Reason For Vaginal Bleeding After Having Sex With History Of Cured Uterine Cancer And Hysterectomy?

I am 64 years old. In 2007 I had uterine cancer & a hysterectomy with a big cut down my abdomen. I healed well and did not need anything but surgery. for the first time in many years I had intercourse and now have vaginal bleeding. The blood looks watery. It does not hurt but I feel heavy in my pelvis.

Hello madam, from the history you have given, I would suggest you to undergo a pap test...thought you have undergone hysterectomy, there is a possibility of recurrence of cancer from the vaginal vault.....Or the bleeding can also be because of atrophic vagina ....you need consult your gynaecologist and may have to undergo a per speculum or per vaginal examination to rule out any local pathology...i hope i was helpful to you. ....
