What Is The Reason For Yellow Fluid Discharge From Nostril After Taking Sudafed For Sinus?

I have had a sinus condition for about a week. No fever, taking Sudafed-D every 6 hours and am starting to feel much better. I am flying home from MN and when I bent over pale yellow fluid dripped out of my left nostril. This is also the side which sinus was clogged and sore into my teeth. I feel fine.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi
I have gone through your query.
It suggest that you are suffering from the rhinosinusitis and the cause of yellowish discharge from the noistril may be due to the bacterial infection of the sinus.
Better to consult the ENT Specialist for better diagnosis and management.
Also you may go for CT Scan PNS and Culture and antibiotic sensitivity of the yellowish nasal discharge.

Wish you good Health.
