What Is The Recovery Periods After Brain Surgery?

How long will it take to get fully recovered after brain surgery?
My husband is 51 years old, his height is 5ft 11inches and weight 80kg.
He went through brain surgery after doctors discovered a tumor on the right side of the brain approx. 6 cm X 5 cm which had swollen and spread due to the formation of cyst around the tumor. His had stroke like symptoms which stopped the movement of his left leg and hand.
He had went through surgery and most of the tumor was removed. He was then discharged from hospital after a few days. However, his conditions worsened upon reaching home and he had to be rushed to the hospital again. Doctors discovered bleeding and took him to theatre again.
Now he has movements in his left hand but he still cant lift his leg.
