What Is The Recovery Time For Compression Fracture Of D12 Vertebrae?

Sir, I had a collapse compression fracture of D12 vertabrea on 3rd Jan. I undertook complete bed rest for 6 weeks as per Doctors advise. I am undertaking physio excersis every day. Have been advised to wear SL belt. Still I feel pain on the spot, if I sit on floor or sleep on foam beds. When I lie down on floor the pain subsides. I would like to know whether this pain will be there permanently till I am alive or will it be relieved over a period of time. What precautions should I undertake. I am 59 years old.
