What Is The Red Spot On The Corner For Cornea?

My 17month old son just finished a round of augmentin for ear infection and he had yellow discharge in his eyes. The discharge went away but now there is a red spot right on the corner of his cornea and the white of his eye its been there since sunday. Im wondering if this is something to be concerned about. He is currently take 2.5mg of Zyrtec for allergies everyday and hes on budesonide 0.25mg/2ml nebulizer treatment daily as preventative. Thanks
