What Is The Relation Between My Aching Arthritis And The SGPT/SGOT?

Hi, I'm 23 years old, male and seemed to have arthritis. My ankles and elbow joints gets inflamed all the time. It hurts a lot. I found that my SGOT is 101.5 and SGPT is 93.2. Both very high. What's the relation between my aching arthritis and the SGPT/SGOT? Please help.

hello,
there may be multiple relations.
first people with arthritis may be taking pain medications which sometimes may cause slight rise in liver enzymes.
secondly these enzymes may sometimes be raised if there is concomitant muscle disease because these are common for muscle and liver.
sometimes they may be raised because of the overall inflammation in body, causing high enzymes.

lastly liver enzymes may be raised as a separate issue like fatty liver.
I find this answer helpful
