What Is The Remedy For A Sore And A Sharp Shooting Pain At The Surgery Sight After Hernia Repair?

Had a hernia repair done the first of October in 2013. Since then surgery sight is sore and has a sharp shooting pain. First ct scan a month later showed a knot. They ruled out infection with blood work. Possible sernoma or scar tissue was suggested. Wait and see was response from Surgeon. It's now almost end of January and same pains but slightly worse at times. Recent ct of a couple days ago showed muscle separation and fluid in area??? Confused...please help.

your case is definitely Nerve Entrappement of Ileoinguinal nerve which is some times tied during surgery.so local steroids like kenacort can be instilled over the site deep to the incision. if not resurgery of hernial box to deadhess the nerve requires.
