What Is The Remedy For Knee Pain After A Knee Surgery With The Maniscus Tear?
Hi,i have had knee surgery in both knees twice, the maniscus keeps taring. Now 6 yrs later after my last surgery my knees are hurting again but this time worse than ever to the point where i have it hard to walk.I know i have to loose weight but being out of work and no insurance what can one do?And is there anything i can take for the pain? Or should i think of surgery again on the maniscus or does this mean replacement now?
Hi and thank you so much for trusting us with your health query.
I am so sorry to hear about this repeated tear and the severe knee pains. I will suggest that you contact your doctor for further examination. If there is nothing that can be done to control the pains once and for all, then you should be considered for knee replacement. For the mean, let you doctors prescribe powerful pain medication to keep your symptoms controlled.
I hope you find this helpful. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to for more information or clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
