What Is The Remedy For Numbness In The Nose After Blowing It Hard?

I spent a few minutes blowing my nose as hard as I could to get every last little bit of ick out of it. Now my lip is numb on the upper right side and it seems like my nostril has gone numb too. The numbness is like that tingling feeling you get when your limbs fall asleep. Will the sensation come back to my face?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Sometimes blowing your nose too hard like you just explained may compromise the blood supply to the area for some time, exactly when it happens while you sit for a long time and legs feel numb, as you suggested.

There could be nothing wrong with the nose or lip and you will surely get your sensations back in some time.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. Let me know if you have further questions.
