What Is The Remedy For Raised Pimples On Lower Abdomen And Thighs With White Heads On Them In A Child?
Hello, my five year old daughter has always had very sensitive skin, she's been dealing with a diaper rash off and on for ages (she has to wear a night diaper and her skin hates it)... But now she has a handful of raised pimples on her front lower abdomen and a few on her upper thighs. She says they are neither painful nor itchy, and don't seem to bother her. Some have a white head on them, but some are just red bumps. They've been there about a week and don't seem to be clearing up or bothering her.

With this presentation, I think the it could be folliculitis. Treatment may involve the use of antiseptic soap, topical antibiotics like neomycin containing ointment. In most of the cases, topical treatment is sufficient but if it fails to work, a systemic antibiotic might be prescribed.
