Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concern regarding the condition of your son. Schizophrenia is psychiatric disorder in which symptoms like hearing voices, being suspicious, disorganized behavior, etc occurs.

You have not provided details of medications. If the current medications are not working, it might need a review and some other anti-psychotic may be needed. In resistant cases, clozapine is an option. Another option of electro-convulsive therapy can be tried if the patient is not responding to medications.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
