What Is The Remedy For Sinusitis With Acute Pain In The Cheekbones?

Hi. I am 18 years old. I hv been suffering from sinusitis since I was 15 yrs old. i hv acute pain in my cheekbones. Moreover I feel difficulties while studying. My eyes hv become weaker and i m also suffering frm hairfall. I feel difficulties in breathing.Can u help me out?

Hello dear,

Sinusitis is cause due to infection/ inflammation of the para nasal sinuses.
Since you are suffering from this condition for the last 03 years, it will be advisable to consult an ENT specialist for complete clinical examination & treatment of the underlying cause.

Management includes:
1. Antihistamine preparations like Allegra.
2. Decongestant nasal drops.
3. Antibiotics based on culture & sensitivity reports.
4. Warm salt water gargle.
5. Steam inhalation.
6. Maintenance of adequate hydration & nutrition status of the body.
7. Protection from cold, dust & other allergens.
