What Is The Remedy For The Pain And Swelling In The Wrist After An Injury With A Bone Sticking Out?

I have a large lump on the wrist after hammering very hard, I have been a carpenter for 35 years, now I think i have broken my wrist and have a bone sticking up in the carpel area, it is just under the skin, I still have full movement but some pain and swelling?
