Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. You seem to be having a condition called as urticaria with angioedema. The most common triggering factors include new food items, food preservatives and colourants, infection like cold and cough, intestinal worm infestations and medications. You have mentioned that you were given a course of steroids. If the rash has recurred after stopping the steroid, you may also benefit from taking antihistamines like Loratidine in the morning and Benadryl at bedtime. If antihistamines alone do not provide relief, you may have to restart steroids after consulting with your dermatologist. It may have to be tapered slowly to prevent recurrences. Meanwhile, try to find any triggering factors. Eliminating the trigger will help in obtaining relief from the rashes. Hope this helps you. Take care.
