Hi I got my tonsils shaved about a year and a half ago and a couple months after there appeared white spots on both shaved tonsils or lymph nodes which ever ones you can see at the back of your mouth but any way after a while of me gargling with listerine and salt water it has been away now I am recently sick and my right tonsils or gland is really swollen and has white stuff on it and it hurts to swallow and my left one has some white stuff on it but isn t swollen nor does it hurt what should I do
I went through the history you have posted. It seems from the history that you are having swollen tonsils and white spots over it. These symptoms indicate acute inflammation of the tonsils in the form of tonsillitis. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. This requires treatment under the supervision of ENT doctor.
Do consult your ENT doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
