Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Remedy For Trigeminal Neuralgia With Pain?
I have been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. This has been a continuous pain foe over a year. I have been to our family doctor, emergency room, and 2 neurologists who have confirmed the diagnosis. They have all prescribed a variety of medications, but none have helped. The pain is really wearing me down. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello, Thanks for your query. Do following steps- *Find a comfortable place to be where you feel safe. *At your neurological appointment, request an MRI to see if you have a possible Micro-Vascular Decompression (MVD). *Increase your nutrition: Take 400 mg Magnesium a day, take B complex and some good multivitamin and minerals daily! Try to eat very live foods like greens, a good way to remember is to eat a rainbow! (a colorful diet) *Avoid touching the facial area & stimulation of the face by hard kissing and hugging. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
