What Is The Solution For Itchy, Flaky, Dry, Peeling Skin In Ear Canals?

I have itchy, flaky, dry, peeling skin in my ear canals. it started in the ear and now has gone deeper inside and come farther outside.
drops prescribed burn like crazy. the situation is under control only while i'm using the medicine. when i stop using the drops, the itching starts again. how can i clear it up? I'm embarassed to tie my hair up because you can see straight into my ear canal which have become very dark by now.

hello,thanks for ur query, in my opinion it could be otitis externa secondary to
diabetes
eczema
aids
chronic middle ear infection
dandruff
psoriosis
it could be managed by diabetes control, antibiotic course, antibotic+steroid drops.all d best , take care.
