What Is The Solution For Pain In The Buttock After Falling On Ice?

Had a bad fall on the ice 10 days ago. Injured both buttocks and coxsis(sp.) Everything eventually healed except the deep pain in one buttock cheek. Responds to Tylenol (2x a day) but getting in and out of the car hurts. Also sometimes standing up, but not constantly. Sitting, bending, most of the time walking is fine. I a 70 years old and everything else is fine.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having simply muscle strain giving rise this problem.
But as you are 70 years of age there might be risk of having fracture even with minor fall due to osteoporosis of bone.
So it is advisable to go for x-ray hip and lumbo-sacral region to rule out fracture at hip or coccyx.
Ok and take care.
