What Is The Success Rate Of Squint Surgery At 26 Years Of Age?

I have a squint in my left eye. My eye doctor suggested that a surgery is required on 2 muscles. My age is 26 could u confirm the success rate of this surgery at this age. I almost gave up on my squint, but eventually am loosing many oppurtunities with this. Am ready to take this surgery, however want to make sure that i dont have to face post surgey complications if any. Pleas e help m

It seems from the history that you are having squint and your doctor has advised squint surgery.
Since you are aged 26 the surgery is only for cosmetic purpose and cosmetic alignment is achieved in more than 99% of cases. Hence there are fair chances of success of surgery.
The principle of surgery usually involves surgery on two muscles and it is done by weakening the overacting muscle and strengthening the underacting muscle.
