What Is The Suggestion For A Painful Ulcer On Index Finger Tip In Scleroderma Patient?

I have crest, or limited scleroderma. I have a very painful ulcer on the tip of right index finger since October. The opening and scab is 1/4 inch. I have been on two or more antibiotics during this time. I ve lost the padding at the tip of finger. I have used hydrogen peroxide to debriede it off and on. It is slow to heal - normal, but what else should I do? Should I be going to a wound clinic, getting an infusion - or what? I want to save my finger from amputation. I take losartan 50 mg 1.5 per day and plaquenil 200 mg 2 times per day. I keep it covered with gauze and dry day and night.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the history given here is concern I would like to say that your finger need to be taken care by the surgeon if you really need to save your finger, it is too important to take care of your finger, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
