Most the times, these are benign and not dangerous. However, considering your age, it's important that we rule out
ischemia as a cause of these.
So you should get an echo, ECG,
stress cardiac test etc. These are increased by
smoking, excessive alcohol intake, excessive thyroid hormone levels, caffeine etc.
You should also get thyroid profile done to rule out
hyperthyroidism. So overall, a likelihood of serious issues is less but needs to be evaluated.
The treatment for is this is beta blockers like tab
Metoprolol Xr 25 mg once a day, to be increased gradually. So you may have this is these are troublesome.
