What Is The Surgical Treatment For Artery Blockage?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... coronary arteries are 80%, 95% and100% blocked what will be the surgical procedure done is it bypass. angioplasty or do we have any other option too please help and is it an emergency she takes medication for high B.P but no other symptoms?
Hi, these blockages would best be dealt by Surgery. But I need to know the location of the blockages before proper advice can be given. If the blocks are proximally or near the origin of the vessels the first two could have a chance with Angioplasty and Stenting. The 100% one has to be tackled by Surgery and therefore it is best in this case to undergo Bypass Surgery by a Cardio thoracic Surgeon. All the best, Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
