Was told today that i have trichomoniasis that it was an std n that my husband needed to take meds as well. He and i both went to another dr to have him tested no the dr tells us there is no test for a man. Call another dr and he says we can do one but its not going to be accurate. The reason we wanted him tested because we have been together 26yrs and we never stepped out on each other. I never had any vaginal problems or diseases not an itch nothing . Menstrual cycle the same nothing different. Had my pap the first part dec everything normal. Dec 12 went to immediate care because of was i thought was a spider bite dr looked at it said staff n put me on antibiotics which i never in my life had to ever take (not sickly). By the end of the biotics menstral came on at the end of mentral had a funny feeling and irritation . So mom said sounds like yeast from antibiotics so took 1 dose monistat (never had to take before) waited 4 days was fine but had a faint smell took a bleach bath then a vinegar douch neither of wish i had done before that day went on the Internet said to insert yogurt that would help. 3 more days later felt fine tried sex with condom didn t feel right was swollen .day or 2 later started having light bleeding almost everday. So made an appointment last week monday n this week they called me and said this was what i had. I m mad with the dr because they seem not to want to listen. We both are trying to explain n all they want to say is that it transmitted thru sex. Couldn t tell us any thing but a man gets it from a woman . But the parasite has to come from some where originally. Mind you i just had a pap smear n we only had sex once with a condom
